Strawberry Shortcake

Today we make Never Fai1l Pie Crust and Strawberry Shortcake. Josie admits to making a mistake in the recipe.

Never Fail Pie Crust
2 1/2 c flour
1 C shortening
1 egg
1T vinegar
5 T ice cold water

Add ingredients to bowl and cut in shortening. It should have pea size crumbles that come together to form a nice dough. Do not overwork. Turn out on lightly floured surface and roll out. Bake in 375 oven

To assemble Shortcake, break some of cooled crust into bowl. Top with strawberries that have been mashed and sweetened to your taste. Add whipping cream. Enjoy
