West House: The Home of Lady Soames | Sotheby's

West House was Mary Soames' home for 20 years and is unique as a memorial to her father Sir Winston Churchill. It contains a great many objects charting his personal and professional life, from a charming autograph letter to his wife Clementine to a well-worn despatch box. Emma Soames discusses some of the items from her mother’s collection to be sold in Sotheby's Daughter of History auction in London on 17 December 2014.
