At Home in Wales with Penny Morrison
Tag along to the breathtaking countryside in Wales for a behind the scenes visit with interior and textile designer Penny Morrison at her beautiful 18th century country home. Originally built in 1790 with an addition thirty years later, the house hadn’t been touched since 1910 when Penny and her art dealer husband Guy purchased the property. After an 18 month renovation, Penny decorated the house and has continued to update it with her signature spin of chic eclectic color and pattern. Mixing classic English chintzes with Indian, Moroccan and Turkish textiles and rugs as well as her own fabrics, she has created a fearless and yet sublimely comfortable home. With all the main floor rooms having access to the terraces and gardens, it is a house celebrating nature year round. Hear what Penny considers a well decorated room and learn her tips for living with art and how embracing your own style will make your rooms sing. You’ll be inspired, informed and entertained!!
