What is Clubhouse App? Is Clubhouse The Next Big Social Media Network?

Is this the next big social media app? Invite-Only Clubhouse App has arrived on the scene and it is creating a lot of noise.

There are a lot of social networks in the world, but most of them have 1 thing in common. They all require some form of visual content. Clubhouse App is different because it focuses on Rooms that are only audio. No video, no images, no gifs. Just sound. You join Clubhouse App rooms that are centered around different topics. Each of the topics will have moderators. Then you can raise your hand to participate.

So how do you join clubhouse app? Well right now it is INVITE ONLY! The app is currently in Beta, but the exclusivity is also helpful for increasing the hype!

Clubhouse app is not like spotify or apple music. And it’s not like Instagram. And it’s not even like an Instagram Live. It’s a whole different concept.

- Could join a Ted Talk any time in the day. And not only could you listen in…but you could participate.
- Could listen in to a conference that is going on half-way around the world.
- Could hear spoken word poetry, or a rap battle.
- Could listen to live podcasts and have audience interaction

Clubhouse app prioritizes interaction around audio. This app is still in it’s early stages since it only launched in early 2020, but it has a lot of potential to create a whole new area in social media.

Audio and sound has always had a special place in my life. I learned to play piano solely by sound. I would listen to a tape of a song, and then need to work to play what I heard at the piano. To this day it has still stuck with me.

Getting an invite to Clubhouse app will open up your world to stop scrolling, and to start listening and interacting.
