A 70 yr Old Power Lifter Changed the Way I Look at Injuries

Why on earth would you train BJJ if you're going to get injured???

This is a question that came up recently from one of the viewers who is interested in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu but is worried about training because of the potential risk of injury.

In this video I share my personal reasons as to why I train in spite of injuries. One is a story about an old power lifter who was a mentor of mine when I was a young kid. The way he presented himself was an inspiration to me.

I talk about the deep reasons as to why I've been involved in BJJ since 2003.

I also share a couple ideas on how to potentially mitigate the risk of injury and avoiding getting injured.

This is a pretty long ramble with some different twists and turns in it. But I hope that it's somehow useful to you with your training. :)
