New Virtua Fighter Project World - Premiere Trailer The Game Awards 2024

Premise:
Absent from the fighting game arena since 2006, the time finally seems to have come for Virtua Fighter to make a return in style, with a studio of the caliber of Ryu Ga Gotoku (Like a Dragon) behind it. In fact, the sixth game in the series was presented at the Game Awards, temporarily titled "New Virtua Fighter Project".
In the announcement trailer, which also has a brief glimpse of gameplay at the end, a lot of emphasis is placed on the details of the setting and how the characters intent on fighting interact with it, suggesting that this will be an important aspect of the game.
In today's Virtua Fighter Direct, producer Riicho Yamada added that when he was entrusted with the project he first asked himself what distinguished Virtua Fighter, and he arrived at two answers: Innovation and reality.
These are the characteristics that we wanted to convey with the trailer, unfortunately without being able to specify more at the moment.
