My trainer delta wing for learning manual RC flight launched from DJI Mavic Air

If you're trying to build and fly a UAV, flying wing or any type of fixed wing aircraft using a Pixhawk or any other type of flight controller with mission planner then you need manual flight skills first. If you're building something yourself then you'll be unlikely to be able to fly it on any sort of auto modes until you have it calibrated in manual first and for this you'll need manual flight skills. If you crash a decent model it will be expensive as I discovered quickly. This video shows my solution and also the potential to launch from a drone thus giving you safe launch altitude and time to think, I'm almost certainly going this route with my final model it will also leave the UAV with maximum battery having not burned a load getting altitude. Automating a drone to carry the UAV to a really safe launch altitude is actually simpler than a hand launch and what's more you can do it all alone. Anyway I'll be back soon with some more updates.
