Vintage Motorhome Renovation Part 1 - Water Damage Repair - 1990 Toyota Odyssey

Everyone knows that these old Toy Homes always have water damage, it just waits to be found.

Well, we found a bunch of it (and I’m certain there is more to be found).

The driver side wheel well had come loose from the rest of the motorhome quite a while ago. When we bought it, the house battery and the hot water heater had a couple of pieces of plywood shoved under them to compensate for the sagging of the wheel well. We knew there was an issue there but hoped we could use it through the season before we had to tear it apart for repairs.

We are planning on taking a very long road trip in the YotaHome and a rotten wheel well absolutely will not do. Sooooooo....here we go! We begin the epic journey by chasing water damage in a 30 year old RV.

What have we gotten ourselves into??

Thank goodness Jeff has been a carpenter for almost 20 years or we would be in WAY over our heads!
