High school merger creates strong football program

(9 Jan 2020) In Clay County, Alabama, two longtime rival high schools were part of a contentious merger in 2012.
The new high school has gone on to win consecutive state football championships, bonding the community and serving as an example of why participation in the sport is so strong across the state while it lags nationally.
