"I can't even respond or defend myself. I know the public still thinks we need trials so they're using a trial and damages and acting like it's a regular trial. So basically it would be like a boxing match where one guy has his arms tied behind his back and a gag in his mouth."

"It's happening to everybody now who's a libertarian or conservative. The dominoes are falling. The First Amendment is being destroyed. But I think the corporate dying dinosaur media has bit more than it could chew, and what you've done is only going to make people be that much stronger and fight for free speech that much more. But I'll say this: shame on the mainstream corporate media. Shame on the mainstream corporate media."

Alex Jones, Infowars Host (English): "Yes I do, I mean I'm not a tech guy. I told you, I gave in my testimony, the phone to the lawyers before or whatever. And so, you got my phone but we didn't give it to you."

STORYLINE:
Infowars host Alex Jones has filed for personal bankruptcy protection in Texas as he faces nearly $1.5 billion in court judgments over conspiracy theories he spread about the Sandy Hook school massacre.
Jones filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in bankruptcy court in Houston on Friday.
His filing lists $1 billion to $10 billion in liabilities.
The bankruptcy filing comes as Jones faces court orders to pay nearly $1.5 billion in damages to relatives of victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting for calling the massacre a hoax.
Jones has laughed at the awards, saying he has less than $2 million to his name and won't be able to pay such high amounts.
