Cycle GB 2016 - Rider Profile: Helen

Helen from Benenden talks about preparing for Stage 1 of Cycle GB 2016 - a 300 mile cycling challenge from Glasgow to York in September 2016. Helen has invested in a new road bike and is busy trying to fit her training in around work and looking after her two young daughters. She is keen to show them that you can do anything if you try hard and put your mind to it!

Cycle GB 2016 is raising funds for Benenden Charitable Trust and SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health). Across 2 stages, the event is a 600 mile charity bike ride from SAMH’s home in Glasgow to the Benenden Hospital in Kent. The event seeks to increase awareness of mental health and raise £50,000 which will be split equally between the charities.
