DC-SCM is a concept of modular server management that moves common server management, security, and control features from a typical motherboard onto a common form factor module. The idea is to enable a common security and management module form factor and interface which can be used across datacenter platforms. The presentation will include details of the mechanical form factor and electrical interface with example block diagrams providing context for the specification and potential implementations. We will also share design experience from existing DC-SCM development efforts.
