Leaky CATAMARAN to Townsville Adventure 101

Downwind sailing, so rare in our lives, keeps us racing up to Townsville from Airlie Beach, but not with out the usual boat dramas on the way. The boat starts leaking (from the heavy rain) and we loose all power while underway. Jamie our resident electrician leaps into action and changes the burnt out fuse while Denise hand steers to just a compass bearing, as of course all this drama happens during a heavy rain squall and with out power we have no instruments. It's Cape after Cape as we overnight in Cape Gloucester, Cape Upstart,Cape Bowling Green and finally Cape Cleveland before finally pulling into Townsville.
