No items, set mode, faint - dead, etc. hardcore+: No setup moves (IE anything that boosts stats guaranteed.) We're treating gifts as a bonus encounter for the area, including eggs, and eggs count for the area they are found not hatched. We can get an extra gift encounter in areas with multiple gifts but no wild encounters. We can only use fused pokemon, we don't catch wild fused pokemon, and we must fuse as much as possible before each gym fight.
