HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript | CSS Type Selectors & Using Classes in CSS | Chap-2 | Part-11

To point our styles or rules of CSS to an HTML element, we need to use a Type Selector that will select the element that we intend to apply styles on. The type selector is essentially a tag name of an element. Beside, using the type selector that uses the element name, we can even use other forms of selectors like using a class attribute in HTML. A class attribute's value is usually used to connect a ruleset from a CSS stylesheet. Usually on any element, a class attribute can be called and multiple values can be passed separating them with a space. When we want to refer to any of the class name, we can simply use a single value preceded by a dot in a stylesheet. Then, the usually ruleset can be applied to that class enclosed in a pair of curly braces.
