Chau Say Tevoda Temple of Angkor | Cambodia Travel | Angkor Temples

Chau Say Tevoda is a small temple built at the end of Suryavarman II's reign in the mid 12th century.Measuring 50m x 40m, it stands about 500 meters east of Angkor Thom's victory gate, just south of the Victory Way (both of which were built much later). It is often incorrectly assumed to be a twin of Thommanon temple as both sit opposite one another and are roughly the same size, though Chau Say Tevoda was built later. The temple layout consists of four gopuras, two 'libraries', and a central sanctuary. A long causeway and cruciform terrace extends eastward toward the Siem Riep river. For the best experience please use headphones. Recorded with Binaural audio - is all about reproducing the real-life experience of hearing sound. #angkortemples #cambodiatravel #siemreaptour
