Russia will resume flights with China to Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai from Moscow on Monday, March 14. The airlines of Russia and China are open to airlines on the routes Moscow - Beijing, Moscow - Guangzhou and Moscow - Shanghai with a frequency of one flight (that is, two flights per week for each city). The corresponding decision was made by the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus infection at the end of February. Those arriving in China can complete the quarantine if two PCR tests show a negative result. After passing quarantine, those arriving in China need to take a PCR test twice more. At the end of February, Russia closed the airspace to 36 countries (China is not among them) as a response to the closure of airspace for Russian aircraft. So far, the decision is of a technical nature: no airline has announced plans to open flights between the countries.
