Kyeler's First Sopilka Build

Music starts at 4:55. While studying music at Macewan university, in the Winter 2022 semester, I had the privilege of taking the course 'Independent Research Project' with Dr. Michael MacDonald. En route to NAIT's Millwork and Carpentry program next year, the good doctor gave me an Rx for pursuing the dream I've always held but never thought I could achieve: Teach myself how to make musical instruments! By the end of the semester, it is clear that this is a passion that I will be pursuing very deeply. Right now, I am going to perfect the Sopilka build. Already, a Tsymbaly prototype is underway. Later, the Bandura and Skrypka will be proudly hanging from my workshop walls. I'm going to become the Ukrainian Instrument Guy! What a life!
