Home Root Touch Up | Root Smudge | Reverse Balayage

My hair is damaged from frequent bleaching so I'm giving it a rest by blending in my natural color as a root smudge for a lived in, melted, blended look to extend the time before the next bleaching. This revives the balayaged look I had before I bleached it all the way to the roots. I used permanent color 6A by Ion from Sally's with 20 vol developer, also by Ion. The technique I used is based on Ellebangs' (Sylvia) 2014 video and it results in a beautiful melted blonde with no demarcation line and without having to use foils.
