The Archaeology of Children on Michigan State University's Campus

This talk will explore the history of children on Michigan State University’s campus through the lens of archival materials and archaeology. It will consider where and when children were present on the campus. Learn how policies governing the presence of children have evolved and changed over time on campus. Explore events, buildings, and landscapes that were and are child-centric on campus, and what the materiality of children tells us about their experiences and daily lives at MSU. Presented by: Stacey Camp, Director, MSU Campus Archaeology Program, Anthropology, MSU Autumn Painter, Campus Archaeologist, Anthropology, MSU Jeff Burnett, Campus Archaeology Fellow, Anthropology, MSU
