Starfield Just Won A GOTY Award! This Is Embarrassing! | The Steam Awards

Starfield winning the award for "Most Innovative Gameplay" says more about the state of The Steam Awards then it does about the game itself. While I imagine most people's reaction to this win was a slight chuckle, it's funny that Starfield "fans" are seeing this as some huge win that totally disproves the nation that Starfield is a poorly received game. Award or no award, it's player numbers are below that of Skyrim and Fallout 4 on Steam, this was not the success Bethesda and Microsoft were hoping for.
