Command Brand Decor Damage-Free Wall Tiles Review

Command Brand Decor Damage-Free Wall Tiles are a pretty cool. Someone had a really good idea when they thought of creating a product to decorate your walls that 1) come in many designs 2) are interchangeable & 3) are removable with no damage! Each tile comes with 2 damage-free Command strips, and nicely packaged and protected in its own box; and my photo frame tiles even had protective films on them to prevent scratching in transit etc. The only thing I didn't like about the way in which they were packaged was that each came with its own Instruction/pamphlet booklet, as well as the whole box had one in it as well. So since I got 3 tiles in one box I got 4 total booklets. I get overwhelmed easy, so I saw that it had 4 booklets total and was like "Oh my gosh!" I ended up leaving everything in the box and not re-opening it for a week thinking that there was going to be a lot put into the assembly of these tiles. Then I realized each book was the exact same and the instructions were about a page, and it wasn't hard AT ALL! Really it has 3 total steps 1) Strip on wall, 2) Base on strip, 3) Tile on base. Simple as that. The Command strips are like Velcro but slightly different. They have adhesive on one side and have plastic beads (looks similar to Velcro) on the other. There is also a plastic beaded Command strip pre-attached to the base so you connect base to wall strip. When connected you can actually hear them "pop" into each other to know they have attached. The Command Strips can be placed anywhere you want on a wall and can be leveled easily by using the built in level on the base. You can even get a riser (as I have) which goes behind the base to raise the tile higher than the others this way you can overlap, or just simply add depth to your wall decor. I used two of mine level and one (with a riser) at an angle so that it was diamond shape in the center and taller so it overlapped the others. You could use a single tile in a small space like any other piece of art, or strategically place many tiles at different heights, and depths to create your own decorating work of art. Strips are removed damage-free by pulling on the tab at one end of the strip which eases the strip adhesion off your wall. You can get new strips if you wish to take one strip off and move to another spot on your wall, or you could change things up every now and then by simply attaching a new tile to an existing base that is already on your wall. In reality the technology they used for this product is by no means new, but the inventive way in which they put each piece together to make the complete product is awesome. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to add some designer flare to their space in a very simple way.
