About the Speech: On 18 May, The European Commission published the 2016 Country Specific Recommendations (CSRs), which will be subject to political approval by the European Council on 27-28 June. The seminar provides an opportunity to discuss the Country Specific Recommendations for Ireland. About the Speakers: Valdis Dombrovskis, European Commssion Vice President with responsibility for the Euro and Social Dialogue, and Eoghan Murphy TD, Minister of State in Departments of Finance and Public Expenditure & Reform delivered keynote addresses. They then joined a panel discussion/Q&A session with John Fitzgerald, Adjunct Professor of Economics at Trinity College Dublin, and Marie Sherlock, SIPTU Economist.
