BatchStovez BS 1.0 Stove - Boil Test #1

Yesterday I received a mystery package from Sam, over at BatchStovez, that included two of his aluminum bottle stoves, the BS 1.0 and the BS 2.0. In this video I'm doing a boil test using the BS 1.0 with the BatchStovez 22 oz Ultralight Cook Pot. The BatchStovez 22 oz Ultralight Cook Pot is a replacement pot for people that like to use the Heine/Foster pot. In a comment on the unboxing video I did on the Mystery Package, MatoNupai pointed out, "Hiram said something incorrect..... The bumps are not to stop a tight seal from a flat pot. They reduce the contact area to stop cold pot flame outs..... Colorado camper used the nails in his stoves for the same reason." I'm sure it's not the first time I've "said something incorrect" but I try to keep it to a minimum. 8-) I guess turnabout is fair play. In this case both of us are correct although the alcohol being forced out through the jets is what concerned me the most. MatoNupai also suggested, "Use the BS 1.0 with the 22 OZ Heineken replacement pot. I got the 1.0 with the 10 cm pot for my sister. It has a tighter flame pattern than the 2.0."
