Sue Rioux's "Onyx" kaleidoscope

Part of the Gemstone Collection, Onyx is an exquisite stained glass, 3-mirror kaleidoscope whose oil cell is filled with dichroic glass pieces and small baubles of sapphire, lavendar, purple, and cobalt. The body is an iridescent sapphire/periwinkle blue finished with a sapphire dichroic glass jewel enhancement. Easy to hold and breathtaking to view, the oil cell has square glass knobs on either side, affording the viewer an easy turning method. Sitting on Sue's signature tiny brass feet, this is truly a gem of a kaleidoscope. It measures 7" long x 2-1/2" wide and stands 2" tall on Sue's signature little copper-soldered feet. Other variations of the Gemstone Series include Diamond, Amber, Seal Harbor, Peridot, Amethyst, Ruby, Moonstone, Sapphire, Citrine, Aquamarine, Emerald and Tourmaline.
