Deploying an open-source project to Digital Ocean using Terraform and Terraform Cloud

Using infrastructure as code and continuous deployment principles can free up time for open-source developers to work on the core of their project. However, many infrastructure as code and CI/CD tools are prohibitively expensive for free software that runs on a tiny budget. Fortunately, Terraform itself is open-source, and supports many cloud providers. In addition, many other tools in the HashiCorp ecosystem are free for small open-source projects. In this talk, we'll look at how myself and my team used Terraform, Terraform Cloud, and Github Actions to deploy an open-source project to Digital Ocean - with no extra bills beyond the cloud hosting!
