I have been utilizing intermittent fasting since 2017. Not eating food for 14-16 hours daily, as silly as it sounds, has boosted my digestive fire, cleared my skin, increased energy and drive, and powered my productivity.

Christian Van Camp began diving into the world of total human optimization after high school when his little sister Nena nearly died from severe health complications. She was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a birth defect that affects normal blood flow through the heart. Eventually, she recieved a new heart March 2014. Without modern medicine AND holistic living necessities for good health--such as nutrition, movement, social wellness and nature--she would not be alive today.
Her powerful life's story is Christian's catalyst to spreading holistic health and wellness.

After high school competitive sports like track & field and soccer, Christian opened his eyes to weight-lifting and bodybuilding as a powerful avenue to see what his body was made of. While in community college experimenting with classes like anatomy, physiology and microbiology, Christian signed a YMCA gym membership with no clue on where to begin. He explored. He got creative. He got uncomfortable. Nearly everyday he took advantage of the 180 degree post-workout sauna, listened to countless hours of holistic healing podcasts, and read hundreds of books on fitness, nutrition, spirituality and biohacking.
He invested in his health every chance he could get. From organic foods, to supplements, to programs, to workout equipment... he wanted to see what his body, mind and spirit was capable of. Christian studied kinesiology, grasped his BSs in Human Nutrition, studied within the CHEK Institute and continued to learn every waking day about holistic optimization. Not just for himself, no. For people like you!
