IFA 2022 Berlin - TCL Mini LED TVs

Hi! This is Bob Raikes from the 8K Association and I'm in Berlin at the IFA trade show - lots of TVs here, of course, and one of the biggest booths is TCL with its miniLED TVs.It's really highlighting miniLED at the show with sizes right up to 98 inch. Now, traditionally, Europeans tend to like smaller sets than some other regions like the US but Marek Maciejewski who's the product manager for TCL in europe was telling me that he's doing really well at the moment with the 98-inch 8K sets which are very popular with people who are replacing projectors and suddenly realizing they can get 100 inch displays at a very reasonable price. There are some issues of course with the logistics of such a large screen but people love the picture quality and like the fact that they don't have to adjust their lighting to to make the most of the projectors. Just behind me is Epson and maybe they have a different point of view but TCL like the nice big TVs.
