Riland TIG 200P AC/DC, Trying to Get a Foot Pedal Working

I just wanted to make a short video update to let everyone know how the attempt to get a foot pedal working on the Riland AC/DC welder went. This foot pedal has a second knob on the front that adjusts the total resistance of the potentiometer and I tried turning that to different settings with each wiring attempt. At no point was I ever able to get the foot pedal to vary the amperage in any way.
