This 1999 shape Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG (W210 generation) is one of those cars which I wasn't expecting to be wowed by...Boy was I wrong, because this quintessentially 90's V8 supersaloon is a shockingly lovely machine. Even when compared to the numerous AMG's which I've driven since, this E55 is still one of my favourite cars I have ever driven. Their rock bottom used prices only add to this excellence, rewarding those who take the plunge on one of these sleeper AMG's with a genuinely wonderful experience.
