Cuz I Loved You - by Lily Idle

About "Cuz I Loved You" Each of the 440 images that comprise the stop motion scenes were taken on a 35mm manual film camera and printed inside my college's pocket-sized darkroom, the credits included (355 fiber-based, 85 resin-coated). The moving film scenes are filmed with Super 8 film and were processed by Pro 8mm in Burbank, Ca (pro8mm.com). I edited the video in Final Cut Pro X using various techniques to try and reflect the unpredictable way memory functions. The music was created especially for the video by Boris Sagal. The recording and mixing was done by Caleb Turner (Kwalia) in Ableton Live 9. Maya Abramson on violin and Jessica Shatkin on flute.
