Retail theft: Workers now wearing body cams to crack down on crime
It’s not just police wearing body cameras these days. The company that owns TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Home Goods — TJX Companies — said they recently began outfitting employees with the equipment to help thwart shoplifting.
The body cameras have reportedly only been rolled out at select stores over the last year. The company told FOX Business the move was made to “de-escalate incidents, deter crime, and demonstrate to our Associates and customers that we take safety in our stores seriously.”
