Metallis Resources (TSX-V: MTS) - Discussing Initial Drill Results & 2021 Strategy

In this interview, we sit down with Metallis CEO Fiore Aliperti and Chief Geologist Dr. Abdul Razique to talk about the assays results from one of the company's 5 total 2020 exploration program drill holes. The team at Metallis are happy with the results, which saw significantly improved gold grades in a hole that tested the Cliff porphyry system to 500 meters below surface, which is notably deeper than historical holes in the same area that are about 400 meters shallower. Grades as high as 1.21 g/t gold over 32 meters were intersected within a broader interval of 0.63 g/t gold over 83 meters. This intercept was located within sections of calcarerous siltstones and thus was outside the main porphyry body, validating the theory that the these sections are mineralized with good gold grades and that the mineralization persists to depth with improving grade. The result also appears to help validate the geochemical and geophysical data (IP) that Metallis gathered in 2020. The system is open along strike and to depth, and the Company plans to drill even deeper holes in 2021. Results are still pending for the remaining four holes from the 2020 drill program, which are expected relatively soon. In this interview, we also asked Fiore & Dr. Razique for their thoughts on whether Metallis would be looking to significantly alter its strategy to date, which has been to be very careful and selective with holes drilled (and this minimizing share dilution) until they can get a better grasp on the system, it's size potential, characteristics and boundaries. By the sounds of it, the Company wants to be a bit more aggressive in 2021 with their drill program, while still maintaining measured discipline.
