Minister Maru on Papua New Guinea's Visa Processing System

National Planning Minister, Richard Maru has requested for Ministers responsible for APEC and Immigration to look into the length of time it takes to process a PNG Business and Tourist Visa for countries like India. Minister Maru says after his fact-finding mission to India, he had received a request from the federation of India Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to look into the issue. Minister Maru says India is a potential market for Tourism and business in PNG, and two months to process a visa was unhealthy for the country.
