Honey Garlic Ginger Pork|| Jerene's Eats|| Easy Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients: 4 Pork Chops (about 1/2 inch thick) Marinade: 3 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp green seasoning 2 1/2 tsp ginger powder 2 tsp garlic powder 2 tsp onion powder 1 tbsp brown sugar black pepper as desired salt as desired (remember you're using alot of soysauce, I used no salt because the soy sauce I used is high in sodium) 1 tbsp paprika 1 tbsp mollasses a few drops of browning for colour Other Ingredients: 1 tbsp oil for searing the pork 2 tbsp butter 5 cloves garlic, minced 2 tbsp ginger, finely minced 2 tbsp finely diced scallion 4 sprigs fresh thyme 1/4 - 1/2 cup honey 1/4 - 1/2 cup soy sauce few tsps unsalted beef, chicken or vegetable broth (optional) 1-2 tsp water mixed with 1-2 tsp cornstarch Notes: The pork is seared in the pan over high heat. Basted with the butter and the sauce at low - medium heat Baked at 400 F if using the oven to finish the cooking process. If you dont have an oven proof pan put the pork on a baking sheet or dish. Remember you can do the entire cooking process on the stove especially if the pork chops are thin and boneless. Pork Chops: 1/2 inch thick with bone takes bout 4 - 5 minutes per side to cook 1 inch thick with bone takes about 6 - 7 minutes per side Do not overcook the pork chops. Here are a few ways to check for doneness: - If juices are running clear and not pink or red - If you use a meat thermometer and it reads between 145 - 160 degrees F . .
