Greece's parliament to sack government employees to unlock about 11-billion U.S. dollars

Greece's parliament has approved legislation to unlock about 11-billion U.S. dollars of rescue loans from the European Union and the International Monetary Fund. The legislation now makes it easier to sack government employees. The law is a condition for further aid instalments. Following parliament's approval, senior eurozone officials are meeting tonight to approve an overdue payment of four-billion dollars in rescue loans.
