About AgVeritas Traditional hybrid/variety tests are based on small-plot replicated trials, a reliable method for determining yield differences under the test conditions. And yet, market research shows that growers don't always believe the results. When your seed truly works better under certain condition, you and the grower both want to know that. The challenge is to instill in growers the confidence that your data is relevant to his/her farm, but trials of that scale and scope have previously been impractical. AgVeritas sorts through in-field variability to deliver high confidence answers from on-farm hybrid or variety comparisons. Via patent-pending spatial analysis technology, every yield point in a field is compared with its neighbors, resulting in literally thousands of head-to-head comparisons in a single field. This means that yield data from on-farm comparisons can now be as statistically accurate as replicated, smallblock trials.
