In the pictures on the box and on Amazon, there's more on the roll, than you get with these. Each section is about 2" long, and it's 16.4 ft long. You also get some couplers, and another 12v adapter end. They are VERY BRIGHT, and they get very warm when on the coil. They have 3M adhesive on the back side, so you can mount them. I don't know if they would melt if you tried to solder the copper ends, but it says to only use the included attachments. They are very easy to use.
