A short 15 minute drive from Aviano Air Base is the town of Sacile which is also where I live. Weekly Market There is a weekly Thursday Market with so many different vendors including cheese & meat, fruit and vegetables, linens, shoes, pasta, food and so much more. It is one of the larger markets and I love picking up pasta and flowers each week. Christmas Market Make sure you grab a cup of vin brule to stay warm while walking around. The market is pretty small but there are a few vendors selling festive towels, wooden figures & ornaments, and food. There is plenty of seating and several heat lamps to keep you warm.
