Maruti Suzuki is going to recall more than 1 Lakh cars over an electrical issue in the vehicles. This is the largest recall in India by Maruti Suzuki. The cars that are being recalled include Ciaz, Ertiga and S-Cross which were manufactured between 4th May, 2018 and 27th October, 2020. The replacement for the defected part in the vehicles will begin from the first week of November this year. The company has issued an advisory to the owners of the aforementioned cars to avoid driving the cars in water logged areas and directing water spray towards the electronic components of the cars. However, the company hasn't yet confirmed about the exact details of the fault and cautioned the owners. All the models are high-end and the safety of the people driving and sitting in the car is still not clear.
