When you really understand how the voice functions properly, and what the right sounds are in coordination with that function, you can sing anything. From pop to jazz to opera. Most modern opera technique cannot achieve this so the singers sound funny singing non classical music. This soprano did not have proper chest when she came to me. And her voice was aspirated with an improper vibrato, all due to a previous teacher who was damaging her voice. The first clip was taken in a large room. She did not have a microphone.
