I have used 6 x Philips 13W 1521 lumen 2700K. The total power consumed is 80 watts and this will deliver an average PAR of 400µmols/m²/sec over a 60cm x 60cm/2ft x 2ft grow area. This is an efficiency of 1.79 µmols/joule which is pretty good for a simple DIY build. The spectrum is perfectly suitable for full cycle growing from seed to harvest.
