How to convert a UPS backup into an inverter

In this video I'm showing how you can use a dead UPS backup as an inverter for powering devices where no 120v power is available. This could be useful info if things got real. I have a old backup unit were the battery has died so I removed the old battery and attached some jumper cables to the corresponding negative and positive wire inside the unit and have attached a car battery to the unit, then you can reuse the old backup unit as an inverter.
