Kubernetes Stories from the Trench

Hello and welcome back to another DevOps For Everyone session. It was great to meet and chat with Mohan, the VP of Products at Rafay. This is the first in a 2 part series that I will be hosting with Mohan and today we hear about some Kubernetes stories from the trench, typical issues including: • Access Control • Quality of Service • Pod Auto Scaling • Kubernetes Secrets • Kubernetes Upgrades • Audit Trail Don’t give ‘God Mode’ access to all users. Give your people single sign on experience. This was a really insightful meetup and I hope you enjoy – see you on episode 2. The Rafay Systems Managed Kubernetes Platform is a turnkey offering that automates Kubernetes cluster management, application deployment and operations at scale. The platform enables development, operations and site reliability engineering teams to govern, manage and monitor multiple Kubernetes clusters and distros, and operating applications in Kubernetes environments running on-premise, in the cloud or at the Edge. Rafay accelerates team productivity resulting in faster time-to-market for new business capabilities. Consumed as a service, Rafay’s platform eliminates the need to build an in-house platform. The platform significantly simplifies cluster management and application deployment in cloud and/or on-premise environments. Organizations can now achieve their desired levels of reliability, availability and performance with any combination of public cloud environments through a developer-friendly SaaS offering.
