Crazy Neon

Using a Joule Thief circuit with an auto ignition coil, this video shows some experiments with HV AC and two neon bulbs. The two are both connect to the same hot wire from the ignition coil. On the other end is a metal bolt. I can make the neon lights toggle back and forth like a flip-flop. They stay lit once going, even when disconnected on one side. AC has a mind of its own and travels the path of least resistance. Neon has a negative resistance property and keeps lit with very little current once going.
