I mean I see the lines and cloth and shapes and tabs and all that but I don't, and think most people don't, really really look at a paraglider. It's an amazing design feat that allows us to soar and cover great distances yet we kind of take it for granted, like a car or a road. In this impromptu video series I'd like to take the task of designing and building a paraglider, from scratch. To do that, I plan to take a journey, from the very simple shape of a rectangle of paper, all the way to a full-size man-flying paraglider.
