Fran's BBC Brain in Hand story - Cornwall Council & Action on Hearing Loss

To achieve its aim of helping people to live as independently as possible in their own homes, Cornwall Council teamed up with Action on Hearing Loss to offer Brain in Hand to Fran. Here, Fran gives her story to the BBC. Fran is 27 and lives in Liskeard. Brain in Hand helps her keep on top of smaller daily living tasks, so that she can concentrate on her bigger plans, such as her charity work and social life. Ana Ribeiro from Action on Hearing Loss explains the increased confidence she has seen in Fran, and Rob Rotchell, Portfolio Holder for Adults at Cornwall County Council, sets out how the local authority benefits.
