Gipsy Smith, the famous evangelist preacher from the early 20 century 9.5mm film.

Gipsy (Rodney) Smith was an evangelist preacher in the mold of Billy Graham (yet to come). He proselytized between the 1880s and the late 1930s, and was praised for his singing, and charismatic preaching. This footage is projected from 9.5mm home cine film dating to the 1920s. It makes reference to a rally of preachers in the Raunds (Northamptonshire, England ) for the Wesleyan Methodist Church. I can find no footage of this once famous evangalist preacher on Youtube...so as rough as this old footage is, please accept what little I have found of "Gispy Smith" from the 1920s.
