Donatello's David

David. If you've seen Michelangelo's David in the Accademia in Firenze, have a peak at this very different David by Donatello in the Bargello, Firenze. Donatello was commissioned to make David in the 1400s, a beautiful delicate bronze statue. He's certainly moved around the city - first in the Palazzo di Medici's courtyard, then to courtyard of the Palazzo della Signora, then to the Pitti Palace, then the Uffizi, and finally the Bargello in 1865.
