Imaging the Monkey Head Nebula (NGC2174) from Bortle 3/4 skies

I have the opportunity over the summer months to image in Bortle 3/4 skies in Northland, New Zealand. This also allows me to image some of those northern targets that aren't visible to me at home. So in this video I image the Monkey Head Nebula NGC2174. As it only rises a maximum of 33 degrees above the horizon, imaging time is somewhat limited. NGC2174 is an H II emission nebula located in the constellation Orion. It is thought to be located about 6,400 light-years away from Earth.
